Celebrating multilingualism

At Groupe Scolaire Charles Péguy, students grow up thinking, speaking and dreaming in three languages. From Petite Section to Baccalureate, they learn in Arabic, French and English in a modern, caring and truly multicultural environment.

Our trilingual pathway blends the rigor of the Moroccan curriculum with innovative approaches from English and Francophone systems, so students strengthen their language skills every day while staying rooted in Moroccan culture and open to the wider world. Here, multilingualism it’s part of who our students are and how they’re getting ready for tomorrow.

Kindergarten

Children begin their trilingual journey from the very start of their schooling. French is the main language of instruction, while English is introduced from Petite Section and Arabic from Moyenne Section in a playful, age-appropriate way. Through songs, stories, games and everyday routines, our youngest learners develop strong listening and speaking skills in three languages, building confidence and communication from an early age.

Educational outings and events celebrating our culture further enrich this multilingual environment, helping children grow curious, open-minded and ready for the next steps of their learning.

Primary School

Students strengthen French and Arabic as core languages of thinking and learning, with nine hours per week each. They read, write and present ideas, and Theatre classes helps them play with words, build confidence and express themselves creatively.

English is taught for 6 hours and used as a language of learning in Visual Arts and Science classes from Year 1 onwards. This means students don’t just study English,  they live it across the curriculum, fast-tracking fluency.

Middle School

Students progress in Arabic, French and English, developing solid grammatical knowledge and real-world communication skills, both written and spoken. These three languages are woven through many subjects  with English particularly integrated into scientific disciplines to strengthen their academic language, including Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Computer Science and Robotics.

Additional English courses leading to Oxford certifications, together with optional Spanish classes, open up new academic, cultural and international horizons for our students.

High School

Students take their multilingual learning to the next level. They analyse, comment on and summarise complex texts in Arabic, French and English, and they practise written and oral expression every day through practical, real-world tasks. Step by step, they learn to argue a point, present ideas clearly and adapt their language to different audiences and contexts.

Commercial English courses give them the specialist vocabulary and communication skills they need for international business and professional settings, so they can walk into a meeting, an interview or a university lecture with confidence in all three languages.

Empowering every learner

Through a rich mix of language experiences, we help students build the skills and resilience they need to thrive.

Trilingual learning

Language skills grow naturally in a fully trilingual environment where French and Arabic are the main academic languages and English is reinforced across activities, subjects and projects. In Primary and Middle School, key subjects such as mathematics and enquiry‑based learning are taught with trilingual approaches, giving students rich, meaningful exposure to all three languages and helping them deepen understanding while communicating confidently in different contexts.

Imane Bekkali

By engaging in meaningful projects in Arabic, French, and English, our students gradually become confident, versatile communicators. Through regular practice, collaboration, and creative expression in each language, they learn not only to speak and write with clarity, but also to adapt their communication across different cultural contexts.
